Healthcare Opt-In
Full-time ABD Creative employees are eligible for a 50% contribution to health care under ABD’s group provider, Regence. Employees may opt for the Bronze (basic), or Silver program, and opt-in to dental coverage as well. Spouses and children may be added to the healthcare coverage as well.

Unlimited PTO
Full-time ABD Creative employees are entitled to unlimited PTO with ample notice. We believe that taking time away to fully unplug is essential. We also recognize that it’s possible to truly “work from anywhere” and embrace the digital nomad culture, as long as work is getting done well, and deadlines are met. If possible, please be cognizant of planning trips before or after the end/beginning of a new month, where client needs/deliverables are heightened.

Life Events
We celebrate milestones and aim to create an environment where you are encouraged to celebrate, too. We suggest ample time off to enjoy life’s major milestones. Please think about what you would like to do, and we will work together to ensure your celebration is free from the stress of work. We want everyone on our team to feel that their work schedule is not in conflict with their life schedule. We are also working on an official maternity leave program, and aim to roll it out in 2024.

We want to make sure your equipment makes day-to-day work easy! Please let us know if your work set up needs an upgrade. If you’re having any issues with equipment, tech, or if there’s something that would make your life easier — we want to know!

Work Remote
All ABD Creative employees have the ability to work remote, from their home or really from wherever, as long as they are able to hop in and get things done. We ask that most work be completed Monday through Friday, during normal business hours, 7am - 6pm. There are some cases when you need to work outside of these hours, but this should not be the norm.

Work Trips
Our clients have needs, and we have a vision! Often, we’re invited to travel to shoot content and/or meet with our hospitality clients. This is a chance for us to come together as a team and do creative work while getting to know a destination! We aim to travel during the work week, not on weekends. These trips will include very long days for efficiency and output, but we will aim to build in downtime and breaks.

Summer Fridays
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, our full-time team members enjoy Summer Fridays, where work ends at 1pm in whatever time zone you’re currently residing in, to get the good weather weekend started early! The caveat is simply to get a bit more work done during the week (autonomous, self-paced) so that you can *slam the laptop shut ‘til Monday* and enjoy!

Conferences & Classes
Our education budget can be used for industry-specific conferences, classes, and workshops. Whether it’s a social media conference to brush up on skills or a hotel conference to rub elbows within our industry, we aim to send each full-time member of our team to one conference per year, as long as time and budget allows. Online courses or in-person classes that will improve the work that we do are always encouraged and will be funded on a case-by-case basis.

Team Outings & Celebrations
We should always be celebrating our team and wins—large and small. We are incredibly lucky to work as a three person team and an annual summer party or outing is just one more way to celebrate together.
